Fort Worden State Park Conference Center, located in the scenic Victorian seaport of Port Townsend, offers a unique blend of art, history, recreation and natural resources. Situated along the southeastern shoreline of Juan de Fuca Straight, at the entrance to Admiralty Inlet, Fort Worden gives its visitors an exceptional experience of spectacular views, expansive beaches and an unbelievable array of facilities.

Accommodations: Fort Worden State Park is offering a variety of overnight accommodation packages (including camping) during the Wildlife Art Expo. For availability and details, please follow the instructions on the online reservations page. Be sure to select "Package Rate" from the Rate Request drop-down menu. Fort Worden State Park also has a variety of restored military buildings large enough to accommodate 1,200 in a performing arts pavilion or small enough for an intimate fireside gathering. Meeting rooms offer a variety of sizes and equipment to support your needs. Accommodations range from one- to six-bedroom Victorian houses to college-style dormitories. An international hostel and 80 campsites also are available on the park campus. If you travel by boat, the park offers moorage floats and buoys.

Recreation: Fort Worden State Park offers trails for hiking, bicycling, and two miles of beach and that's just the beginning. Fort Worden State Park Conference Center sits among the wooded hillsides of Point Wilson, offering you sweeping views of the Olympic and Cascade mountain ranges, Puget Sound, and the Strait of Juan de Fuca. The WILDLIFE EXPO takes place at The Commons dining hall at Fort Worden State Park. Once on the park grounds go through the stop sign intersection to the next road and turn right and park in the large parking area.

DIRECTIONS

From Seattle travel across the Sound to Bainbridge Island. Take Hwy. 305 straight out the ferry dock, through Poulsbo, and connect with Hwy. 3 going north to the Hood Canal Bridge. Cross the bridge and take Hwy. 19 north. Hwy.19 becomes Hwy. 20 which brings you into Port Townsend. Follow all FORT WORDEN STATE PARK signs.

From Victoria and Port Angeles travel east on Hwy. 101 to Hwy. 20 to Port Townsend. Once in Port Townsend watch for FORT WORDEN STATE PARK signs and follow for about 2 miles.

From Whidbey Island travel to Keystone Ferry Dock at mid-island and cross to Port Townsend. Exit to the left out the dock and turn right at the Kearney Street light and follow all signs to FORT WORDEN STATE PARK.
