Exhibit Instructions 2009 Application
Exhibitor Information
Update! Thank you for your interest in showing your work, however all of our spaces for the 2008 Wildlife & Nature Art Exposition are now full. Please download an application for consideration for the 2009 Wildlife Art Expo.
Fort Worden State Park & Conference Center will be hosting the Wildlife and Nature Art Exposition beginning Friday, December 12 through Sunday, December 14, 2008. This year we will be highlighting the FISHER as part of a reintroduction program by the National Parks Service in the Olympic National Park, part of the Olympic Peninsula where we are hosting the event.
How to Apply: In order to participate in this annual event, we require that you have expertise and are an established painter, carver, sculptor or photographer. Those who wish to participate must submit the attached application, 8-10 images of the work you will be displaying either on a cd, photographs or via email to C. Overman at olyhost@olympus.net, a short biography, and a $100 booth fee. You can request a double booth space for $200. Upon a jury review and approval those selected artists will receive a confirmation packet with their booth space reserved. Submittal of the application does not guarantee space in the exposition. Your booth fee will be returned if your work is not accepted. Applications submitted without the fee will not be considered. Space is limited. Applications will be reviewed until space is full.
Set-up Information: Artists who are notified of acceptance must be prepared to set up artwork on Thursday, December 11 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. or Friday December 12 before 3 p.m. All work must be removed by 11 a.m. Monday, December 15. You are obligated to stay set up until the end of the show on Sunday, December 14. There is no breakdown of booths prior to 6 p.m. The exposition times will be 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, December 12 for the opening reception, and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday, December 13, and Sunday, December 14.
Accommodations: Fort Worden State Park has a limited amount of housing on site for artists. Those interested in housing will be contacted for a deposit on the preferred accommodation.
